Buffalo Community Orchard
The Buffalo Community Orchard was established in 2021 by the Bread of Life Food Pantry, Johnson County School District No. 1, and the Boys and Girls Club of Central Wyoming, as a way to provide long-term, sustainable access to fresh fruit to the community. The Orchard is located on Johnson County School district property at 601 W. Lott St., in Buffalo. The Orchard is open to the public. In addition, fruit will be distributed through the Bread of Life Food Pantry. In 2022, CommuniTrees was asked to join as a partner to provide care for the trees in the Orchard. Look for educational signs and events coming soon! Donations can be made to a specific fund to take care of the Orchard.
